Best Mineral Make Up?

What is the best mineral make up would you recommend a person with a dry to normal skin?Best Mineral Make Up?
I have used Young Blood before and I have had mixed feelings about it. I have dry/normal skin as well and I would not recomend using the loose or pressed powder. I got little bumps on my cheeks, and I know someone that had the same reaction. I do like the liquid foundation though. It was a sheer coverage but my skin felt great and looked really healthy.

You can read a lot of reveiws on the amazon website..Best Mineral Make Up?
BODYSHOP!! because there actually pure mineral stuff not like the other mineral makeup that say there mineral and blah and are not!

I use Bare Minerals... love it!

Anyone know of mineral make-up?

The company I am with has just launched a beauty line. I rarely use make-up but heard this helps aging skin.

I would like some input before I get into make-up

TYIAAnyone know of mineral make-up?
Hi !

It is to my knowledge and belief that there is really is no difference between a regular shampoo and conditioner, Make-Up or Skin Care products. And even in this day, all product are still pretty much made with the same basic ingrediant that have been used for years.

Products that claim to be all natural, are not what you would think it should be. pretty much all the beauty products are produced using the same thing. Beware of thee new product claims.

For instance, Let's say a product line makes the claim that this product is all natural. Not So.

In order to wash your hair you need things like Sodium Lauryl Sulfates. Some companies will make the claim that there shampoo has no sulfates. They claim to use the moisture from coconut extracts to clean the hair. Well then so does everyone else. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate are derived from coconuts. Other products like natural tint shampoo are the same. The natural element is in there in such trace amount's It's hardly worth it. but they still make the claim

it's all natural.

It's the same thing for Make-Up and Skin Care. The Claim, to be using all natural elements. Well it works the same way as the hair care.

A standard make up base with a few minerals and make there claim that it's using mineral enriched ingediants, or natural elements.

But in fact the product will be low in mineral content.

Do you see where I'm coming from on this ?

Don't listen to all these crazy claims.

Buy what you like not what being pushed on you.

Don't fall into it's the latest and the best.

Or listen to all the crazy commercials and ads.

Companies are all on the ecco band wagon

all natural, ecco friendlly, which is a HUGE

selling tool for many companies.

BUYER BEWARE.Anyone know of mineral make-up?
Yeah, mineral foundation is great to look really natural, while still covering up any blemishes ... but it's not good, in my opinion, for A LOT of cover up, just minor skin problems. But, other than that, I really like it to look as natural as possible while still having that make-up glow to your skin
Yeah I use it and I love it! It gives me really natural coverage!! Go for it!

Mineral make up (liquid vs powder)?

i'd really love anybody's advice on mineral make up %26amp; whether mineral powder or liquid foundation is better???????

all i have ever used is non-mineral liquid foundation for 15years! i guess ive stuck with liquid as ive found it easier %26amp; more natural looking in the past.. but since hearing lots about mineral make up it usually seems to be discussed in the powder application??????? so which is best??? brands %26amp; where to buy would be awesome too! thanks :DMineral make up (liquid vs powder)?
if u have really rosy cheeks id use liquid

if your really shiny use powder

if ur rosy and shiny use a litttle of liquid and let it dry on ur skin first then put on a little powder on top of that.Mineral make up (liquid vs powder)?
For years women have believed that liquid was for dry/normal skin, and powder was for oily/normal skin. But as makeup has improved, they've created powder that are more hydrating for the skin.

My skin is extremely dry, but I've found with a great moisturizer and quality mineral powder, the results are great!

Regardless of reviews and advice the simplest way is to experiment and try products out.

Get a foundation from Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals (the best of the best mineral makeup). If you like it and have good results, you can probably wear mineral powder. If not, I'd advise you to stick to liquid.

Hope this helps :)
Powder, because in this case the liquid makes your skin look a little greasy so you want to stick with the powder form. Bare essentials is a nice brand.

Mineral make up help?

Soo i've heard a lot of good things about mineral make up or bare minerals or whatever i'm just not sure if it would be good for my skin or not, because for some reason i just feel like nothing at all would ever work for my skin i just break out sooo easily it sucks, well i saw mineral make up at kohls soo i'm not sure if kohls would be good. soo any advice? i'm thinking of getting the starter kit but i don't know where to get it??? plus how much would it cost for the starter kit?Mineral make up help?
You definitely should try mineral makeup. Any brand is good to try. I personally use and LOVE Bare Escentuals, and my skin is so much healthier since I started using it. The starter kit is $60, you can get it at Bare Escentuals stores, Sephora, Ulta, and online from www.bareminerals.comMineral make up help?
i have bareminerals and it is AMAZING! i know plenty of my friends use it

it is a lil pricier than the make up you would buy from walmart or somethin but it last a lot longer and is way better

the starter kit which you can buy from the bareminerals store at malls of i think even offline is 75$ and it comes with everything you need. i got my starter kit and it lasted me about almost a year.

you should really give it a try it looks %26amp; workks better than any other makeup
i have used bare essentials mineral make up.. i got it from sephora for about 80$ canadian.. the good thing about sephora is they will show you how well it will cover any ';problems';.. i really like it because you get a few brushes two colors of the face cover powders a blush and a highlighter, as well as the face primer. becuase it is a powder it gets rid of oil with out looking spotted, .. and the coverage is really surprising.. i LOVE it and would recommend to all my friends no matter there skin. the only thing is on overly dry skin it can be to much becuase it doesnt have the mositure
i love my micabella! its like bare minerals but its just another name... there's actually this lotion that u put on 1st then the make-up. i bought mines at the mall after the girls game me a make over, am really picky and was making sure the girl i was talking to knew the product and stuff. its really good i 100% recommend it!
you can get the starter kit from sephora. it cost about 30 dolors.

it's expensive but it works very good for sensitive skin that breaks out easily.

%26lt;3 bella.
i feel the same way my skin breaks out badly to yeah i think you should buy it

  • Mineral make-up and tinted moisturiser?

Difference between normal make-up%26lt;%26gt;normal make-up and tinted moisturiser%26lt;%26gt;normal moisturiser?

i have an oily nose so is there any point in me putting on moisturiser on it?Mineral make-up and tinted moisturiser?
Mineral make-up is make-up made with minerals in it like zinc, or crushed mother of pearl. It is generaly lighter than regular make-up and wont clog the pores which is good if you are prone to pimples or black heads.

Tinted moisturizer is simply moisturizer with a little bit of concealer/make-up in it, which means you do not need to wear concealer or foundation if you have it on. It simply helps skip a step, it's a 2-in-1.

Do you only have a oily nose or do you have pimples aswell?

    Here are some combination options:

Pimples and oily nose: Use a tinted moisturizer (look for an oil-free one like Nivea or Philosophy) and a mineral powder over it.

Only a oily nose, no pimples: You can use a regular or tinted moisturizer with regular make-up powder over it

    or

just use a mattifying or oil absorbing moisturiser (like the one Garnier makes in it's Pure A/Blue range) Then you dont need to use powder unless you want to.Mineral make-up and tinted moisturiser?
    huh? I'm confused...

    Mineral make-up?

What is the best mineral make-up available? I'm interested in trying some, I'm just not sure if I want to spend $60 on products I'm not sure about.Mineral make-up?
Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation from bee luscious! It's the best because they don't put in bismuth or oil. It stays on at least 12 hours or more. I use all of their makeup and love it.

i like neutrogenas mineral sheers. but im not sure if u wanna go to a drug store, but u can save a lot
I love Bare Minerals. It is a great foundation and I have sensitive skin and have used it too four about 4 years. It is under your price range and you will get great results!
She's so right, You dont have to spend a fortune or join a club to get mineral foundations. there's pretty much no difference in them. These on tv fail to mention that one of their ';all natual ingredients'; is bismuth. Yes, the stuff Pepto Bismol is made out of. It will eventually probably irritate your skin.

I found some on e-bay , smokeymountainminerals that has no bismuth. You can get larger sizes too. it 's better to know what color you need for sure. I found that to be sure, get 2. One that I think Is like my skin tone %26amp; one that's maybe a little darker. If you kinda look medium to tan, like me,get both. winter, mix less tan, summer mix less medium.

I hope I didnt get you ';mixed ';( hahah ) too much!!
I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it either but I wanted to try it. So I spent $7.99 on the Avon one and I really like it alot. I just use that nothing else and it really makes my skin look smooth.
I tried Bare Esscentuals, which a lot of people prefer, but I don't recommend it. It looks awesome when you put it on, but some people (myself included) are highly sensitive to an ingredient in it called Bismuth Oxychloride, which made my skin break out worse than it ever has in my whole life, and my skin isn't that good to begin with. Definately steer clear of any brand with that ingredient in it, since it isn't even worth the agony of finding out if you're allergic to it. Since then I tried numerous brands and finally found one I LOVE, everyday minerals (everydayminerals.com). You can buy full-sized products, but they also have a sample kit that you can pick where you get to try 3 mineral foundations, a concealer, a face color, and blush, absolutely free! All you pay is shipping and handling. That way you can figure out what shade works for you, and how to mix and blend your custom colors if necessary. After that you can buy a 6-pics kit for only $32, and they have specials all the time where you can enter a coupon code for a certain percentage off and it adds on free products if your order is still $30 or more.
    i love mineral makeup

    micabella is wat i use

just make sure it doesnt have an expiration date bcuz then its not mineral makeup
you really don't need to spend the money. some drugstore brands make it, almay does, it works pretty well, but i prefer ordinary makeup. clinique is the best for face stuff like foundation and blush.
I use Bare Minerals make-up from Bare Escentuals.. it's really good and you don't have to use a lot at all.. and it's only about $45 every 2 months..it's really good for sensitive skin, oily skin, and even acne prone skin...and it's all natural make up that you don't even have to take it off before you go to sleep.. it's just vitamins for your face....I love it.. here's the website just in case you want to check it out... www.BareEscentuals.com
Buy some clinique it doesnt clog pores, and my dermatologits recommended it, it wont clod your pores!
I sell 100% natural mineral makeup through my internet shop. The best part is that you can buy samples of the product for just $2.00. You can try a variety of products and not feel like you're wasting your money. We also sell all the brushes and many other natural products for very reasonable prices. Shipping is also very reasonable - just 10% of your order. So for a $20 order you could try 10 different products and only pay $2.00 for shipping.
