What is the best mineral make up would you recommend a person with a dry to normal skin?Best Mineral Make Up?
I have used Young Blood before and I have had mixed feelings about it. I have dry/normal skin as well and I would not recomend using the loose or pressed powder. I got little bumps on my cheeks, and I know someone that had the same reaction. I do like the liquid foundation though. It was a sheer coverage but my skin felt great and looked really healthy.
You can read a lot of reveiws on the amazon website..Best Mineral Make Up?

Anyone know of mineral make-up?
The company I am with has just launched a beauty line. I rarely use make-up but heard this helps aging skin.
I would like some input before I get into make-up
TYIAAnyone know of mineral make-up?
Hi !
It is to my knowledge and belief that there is really is no difference between a regular shampoo and conditioner, Make-Up or Skin Care products. And even in this day, all product are still pretty much made with the same basic ingrediant that have been used for years.
Products that claim to be all natural, are not what you would think it should be. pretty much all the beauty products are produced using the same thing. Beware of thee new product claims.
For instance, Let's say a product line makes the claim that this product is all natural. Not So.
In order to wash your hair you need things like Sodium Lauryl Sulfates. Some companies will make the claim that there shampoo has no sulfates. They claim to use the moisture from coconut extracts to clean the hair. Well then so does everyone else. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate are derived from coconuts. Other products like natural tint shampoo are the same. The natural element is in there in such trace amount's It's hardly worth it. but they still make the claim
it's all natural.
It's the same thing for Make-Up and Skin Care. The Claim, to be using all natural elements. Well it works the same way as the hair care.
A standard make up base with a few minerals and make there claim that it's using mineral enriched ingediants, or natural elements.
But in fact the product will be low in mineral content.
Do you see where I'm coming from on this ?
Don't listen to all these crazy claims.
Buy what you like not what being pushed on you.
Don't fall into it's the latest and the best.
Or listen to all the crazy commercials and ads.
Companies are all on the ecco band wagon
all natural, ecco friendlly, which is a HUGE
selling tool for many companies.
BUYER BEWARE.Anyone know of mineral make-up?
Yeah, mineral foundation is great to look really natural, while still covering up any blemishes ... but it's not good, in my opinion, for A LOT of cover up, just minor skin problems. But, other than that, I really like it to look as natural as possible while still having that make-up glow to your skin
Yeah I use it and I love it! It gives me really natural coverage!! Go for it!

Mineral make up (liquid vs powder)?
i'd really love anybody's advice on mineral make up %26amp; whether mineral powder or liquid foundation is better???????
all i have ever used is non-mineral liquid foundation for 15years! i guess ive stuck with liquid as ive found it easier %26amp; more natural looking in the past.. but since hearing lots about mineral make up it usually seems to be discussed in the powder application??????? so which is best??? brands %26amp; where to buy would be awesome too! thanks :DMineral make up (liquid vs powder)?
if u have really rosy cheeks id use liquid
if your really shiny use powder
if ur rosy and shiny use a litttle of liquid and let it dry on ur skin first then put on a little powder on top of that.Mineral make up (liquid vs powder)?
For years women have believed that liquid was for dry/normal skin, and powder was for oily/normal skin. But as makeup has improved, they've created powder that are more hydrating for the skin.
My skin is extremely dry, but I've found with a great moisturizer and quality mineral powder, the results are great!
Regardless of reviews and advice the simplest way is to experiment and try products out.
Get a foundation from Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals (the best of the best mineral makeup). If you like it and have good results, you can probably wear mineral powder. If not, I'd advise you to stick to liquid.
Hope this helps :)
Powder, because in this case the liquid makes your skin look a little greasy so you want to stick with the powder form. Bare essentials is a nice brand.

Mineral make up help?
Soo i've heard a lot of good things about mineral make up or bare minerals or whatever i'm just not sure if it would be good for my skin or not, because for some reason i just feel like nothing at all would ever work for my skin i just break out sooo easily it sucks, well i saw mineral make up at kohls soo i'm not sure if kohls would be good. soo any advice? i'm thinking of getting the starter kit but i don't know where to get it??? plus how much would it cost for the starter kit?Mineral make up help?
You definitely should try mineral makeup. Any brand is good to try. I personally use and LOVE Bare Escentuals, and my skin is so much healthier since I started using it. The starter kit is $60, you can get it at Bare Escentuals stores, Sephora, Ulta, and online from www.bareminerals.comMineral make up help?
i have bareminerals and it is AMAZING! i know plenty of my friends use it
it is a lil pricier than the make up you would buy from walmart or somethin but it last a lot longer and is way better
the starter kit which you can buy from the bareminerals store at malls of i think even offline is 75$ and it comes with everything you need. i got my starter kit and it lasted me about almost a year.
you should really give it a try it looks %26amp; workks better than any other makeup
i have used bare essentials mineral make up.. i got it from sephora for about 80$ canadian.. the good thing about sephora is they will show you how well it will cover any ';problems';.. i really like it because you get a few brushes two colors of the face cover powders a blush and a highlighter, as well as the face primer. becuase it is a powder it gets rid of oil with out looking spotted, .. and the coverage is really surprising.. i LOVE it and would recommend to all my friends no matter there skin. the only thing is on overly dry skin it can be to much becuase it doesnt have the mositure
i love my micabella! its like bare minerals but its just another name... there's actually this lotion that u put on 1st then the make-up. i bought mines at the mall after the girls game me a make over, am really picky and was making sure the girl i was talking to knew the product and stuff. its really good i 100% recommend it!
you can get the starter kit from sephora. it cost about 30 dolors.
it's expensive but it works very good for sensitive skin that breaks out easily.

i feel the same way my skin breaks out badly to yeah i think you should buy it

Mineral make-up and tinted moisturiser?
Difference between normal make-up%26lt;%26gt;normal make-up and tinted moisturiser%26lt;%26gt;normal moisturiser?
i have an oily nose so is there any point in me putting on moisturiser on it?Mineral make-up and tinted moisturiser?
Mineral make-up is make-up made with minerals in it like zinc, or crushed mother of pearl. It is generaly lighter than regular make-up and wont clog the pores which is good if you are prone to pimples or black heads.
Tinted moisturizer is simply moisturizer with a little bit of concealer/make-up in it, which means you do not need to wear concealer or foundation if you have it on. It simply helps skip a step, it's a 2-in-1.
Do you only have a oily nose or do you have pimples aswell?
Here are some combination options:
Pimples and oily nose: Use a tinted moisturizer (look for an oil-free one like Nivea or Philosophy) and a mineral powder over it.
Only a oily nose, no pimples: You can use a regular or tinted moisturizer with regular make-up powder over it
or
just use a mattifying or oil absorbing moisturiser (like the one Garnier makes in it's Pure A/Blue range) Then you dont need to use powder unless you want to.Mineral make-up and tinted moisturiser?
huh? I'm confused...

Mineral make-up?
What is the best mineral make-up available? I'm interested in trying some, I'm just not sure if I want to spend $60 on products I'm not sure about.Mineral make-up?
Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation from bee luscious! It's the best because they don't put in bismuth or oil. It stays on at least 12 hours or more. I use all of their makeup and love it.
http://www.beeroyalproducts.com/store/ho鈥?/a>Mineral make-up?
i like neutrogenas mineral sheers. but im not sure if u wanna go to a drug store, but u can save a lot
I love Bare Minerals. It is a great foundation and I have sensitive skin and have used it too four about 4 years. It is under your price range and you will get great results!
She's so right, You dont have to spend a fortune or join a club to get mineral foundations. there's pretty much no difference in them. These on tv fail to mention that one of their ';all natual ingredients'; is bismuth. Yes, the stuff Pepto Bismol is made out of. It will eventually probably irritate your skin.
I found some on e-bay , smokeymountainminerals that has no bismuth. You can get larger sizes too. it 's better to know what color you need for sure. I found that to be sure, get 2. One that I think Is like my skin tone %26amp; one that's maybe a little darker. If you kinda look medium to tan, like me,get both. winter, mix less tan, summer mix less medium.
I hope I didnt get you ';mixed ';( hahah ) too much!!
I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it either but I wanted to try it. So I spent $7.99 on the Avon one and I really like it alot. I just use that nothing else and it really makes my skin look smooth.
I tried Bare Esscentuals, which a lot of people prefer, but I don't recommend it. It looks awesome when you put it on, but some people (myself included) are highly sensitive to an ingredient in it called Bismuth Oxychloride, which made my skin break out worse than it ever has in my whole life, and my skin isn't that good to begin with. Definately steer clear of any brand with that ingredient in it, since it isn't even worth the agony of finding out if you're allergic to it. Since then I tried numerous brands and finally found one I LOVE, everyday minerals (everydayminerals.com). You can buy full-sized products, but they also have a sample kit that you can pick where you get to try 3 mineral foundations, a concealer, a face color, and blush, absolutely free! All you pay is shipping and handling. That way you can figure out what shade works for you, and how to mix and blend your custom colors if necessary. After that you can buy a 6-pics kit for only $32, and they have specials all the time where you can enter a coupon code for a certain percentage off and it adds on free products if your order is still $30 or more.
i love mineral makeup
micabella is wat i use
just make sure it doesnt have an expiration date bcuz then its not mineral makeup
you really don't need to spend the money. some drugstore brands make it, almay does, it works pretty well, but i prefer ordinary makeup. clinique is the best for face stuff like foundation and blush.
I use Bare Minerals make-up from Bare Escentuals.. it's really good and you don't have to use a lot at all.. and it's only about $45 every 2 months..it's really good for sensitive skin, oily skin, and even acne prone skin...and it's all natural make up that you don't even have to take it off before you go to sleep.. it's just vitamins for your face....I love it.. here's the website just in case you want to check it out... www.BareEscentuals.com
Buy some clinique it doesnt clog pores, and my dermatologits recommended it, it wont clod your pores!
I sell 100% natural mineral makeup through my internet shop. The best part is that you can buy samples of the product for just $2.00. You can try a variety of products and not feel like you're wasting your money. We also sell all the brushes and many other natural products for very reasonable prices. Shipping is also very reasonable - just 10% of your order. So for a $20 order you could try 10 different products and only pay $2.00 for shipping.

Mineral Make-up Experts? ?
I was wondering if anyone of you guys wore the Mineral Makeup? What Brand and do you like it? I just bought the Revlon Mineral Makeup and I'm not so crazy about it...Mineral Make-up Experts? ?
I also have the Revlon Mineral makeup, and I love it. It's not so much for coverage, but to give you a healthy glow that looks flawless.Mineral Make-up Experts? ?
If you are slapping it on like paint it looks horrible, but if you use the correct mineral products on right complexion(which is most) it looks great. It is the blending that makes the most difference and learning how to use your brushes. You say you are not crazy about it but you do not say what exactly you don't like. If you use correct foundation and get your eyes right the rest is easy. It really works great to cut down on shine. Not sure about Revlon brand .
I suggest Everyday Minerals and Bare Minerals. I have tried pretty much all the other brands, and they're alright, but I'm addicted to these.
Everyday Minerals offers the most basic of formulas, with a list of healthy ingredients. I wear their makeup when my skin is feeling irritated or I want a more natural look.
Bare Minerals has great colors and the best texture, but twice as expensive! Oh well, you get what you pay for ; )
I would suggest ordering sample kits. Most brands offer sales and specials, or you can find a coupon code, so it's not hard to get your hands on some test products.
Bare Escentuals is amazing (bareescentuals.com or sephora.com), I've been using it for the past two years but it's definitely a little on the expensive side. Lately I've been trying Everyday Minerals (everydayminerals.com) because its cheaper. The quality isn't as great as BE but it's comparable in coverage and great if you've got sensitive skin. You can get a free sample kit from their website if you want to test them out, but you gotta pay for shipping, which is like $5.
the ONLY mineral makeup that i have found to work wonders is Bare Minerals.(you can pick it up at any Sephora store or online at: http://www.sephora.com/search/search_res鈥?/a> ) It's pricey BUT TOTALLYYYY WORRRTTHHH ITTTT. it can turn any persons face in to a clean soft pallet of perfect looking skin.
Best way to start off is with the ';get started kit'; it comes with an assortment of really nice brushes and the four different powers you will need and a lotion to keep your skin clean along with a dvd that can teach you just how to put it on :)
I use Jane Iredale Pure Pressed base. It has been around a long time, and it is so good, that it's the only makeup that people can wear after plastic surgery or burns. My cousin used the Bare Minerals and said her face looked whitish in pictures. I have never had that problem with Jane Iredale. They also make loose powder.
Check it out! http://www.janeiredale.com/bases_pp.html
I use bare minerals.... The store is Bare Essentuals. I've been using it for two years....

Good Luck!!

Mineral Make-Up Powder?
I just bought some today. Will it be ok to put on some liquid cover-up then the mineral cover-up on top? Or is the mineral make-up really as good ever1 says it is? I guess I just cant believe it lol. Or is there anything other then the mineral cover-up that I have to use before or after for it tomake my skin look natural?Mineral Make-Up Powder?
If you are talking about Bare Minerals or any mineral make-up there is no need for liquid make-up. Just make sure you buff it in good. It works great.Mineral Make-Up Powder?
I would say no to the liquid cover up! Concealer would be ok! I used liquid foundation to cover up problem areas before and when i used the mineral makeup, you could see the spots where u applied the foundation! Loreal Bare Naturale works really good! And it has really good coverage!
I think it's fine to put liquid cover-up and then the mineral veil as long as it doesn't look cakey. What I would do is use Primer and then put the mineral make-up over it. Primer helps to make pores look smaller and skin look flawless. Hope this helps!
Sure! Liquid cover-up is fine. Many of the mineral foundations, such as Sheer Cover, come with a cover-up cream. Good luck!
My friend does liquid than mineral and her face always looks cakey. The mineral colors everything for me, i have absolutely no complaints.
First of all, the FDA would never allow make up to contain arsenic.
Secondly, I've tried five different mineral powder make up lines. All of them were great. The key is to tap the brush into the make up, then tap it off on the edge so you don't see any on the outside of the brush. Then buff it into your skin like you would wax a car. Your skin will look airbrushed, almost like a model. These products are also the only ones I have ever found that cover my freckles and roseacea completely.
to answer your first question, yes its ok, you may also use camillia oils or petroleum jelly and mix it with mineral loose foundation to have that liquid foundation look. i love mineral make up, but some are not as good as everyone says.ive tried loreal %26amp; my skin becomes itchy.while bare escentuals %26amp; bee luscious r so expensive.then i swithced to ELEGANT MINERALS visit www.elegantminerals.com. theyr d best iv tried so far w/out getting broke.if you live in malaysia,to save time and shipping cost u can also purchase to their branch in the philippines, check out www.poshandglam.com
Mineral Make-up, such as Bare Minerals, is meant to go onto the skin alone. They offer a concealer brush to apply their foundation as concealer. There are different brushes in their starter kit (found at Sephora or Sephora.com) that will give you different levels of coverage.
with mineral make-up what i do when i use it and it comes out the best is you want your face to be clean obviously then i put on my counselor, then my mineral make-up and it looks fine you don't want the put the mineral make-up on first though

Mineral Make-up Help?
Every time I use my sheer cover mineral make-up, it sinks into my pores and you can see it on my nose all messed up and dumb after a couple of hours. Does anyone know why this is and what I can do about that? I already use moisturizer first so that's not it. Thanks.Mineral Make-up Help?
I use mineral make-up too, but I use BareMinerals. The best way to prevent that from happening is to use some sort of make-up primer, which helps prevent the makeup from sinking in. They sell some at Sephora. Here's the link to them.
http://sephora.com/browse/section.jhtml?鈥?/a>Mineral Make-up Help?
You may want to try a foundation primer after your moisturizer like M.A.C. ';prep and prime'; or Smashbox ';photo finish';. I use both a moisturizer and a primer before applying my mineral makeup. It may also be the brand youre using. You may want to try bare minerals or M.A.C. minerealize skinfinish (GREAT PRODUCT)
its not the makeup that is doing that. well, yes it is but thats not the problem. try using a pore refining cleanser. that will help make your pores less noticable and the foundation won't seep into them. it will also help unclog them from the past makeup in pores occasions.
There is a product at Sephora, I think Smashbox makes it, called Photofinish. It works really well. Make sure you get a free sample first, because it's kind of expensive.
I don't know the answer but i do suggest you try bare minerals.

keep reading answers recommending mineral make up. i live in uk and have never heard of it? can u buy it here?Mineral make up?
you can visit TRUE cosmetics website to find out if they have distributers in your area. the thing about mineral makeup is to make sure it is 100% minerals i doubt anything you can find at the store is it is probably 80% fillers they are bad for your skin and clog your pores there are only a handful out there that are and true is one of them and in my oppinion is the best.!! you may try contacting a salon that carries it and see if they can send it to you!!!Mineral make up?
If you live in the UK why not try http://www.lilylolo.co.uk/home.php I haven't tried it personally but know a few friends that recommend it. Report Abuse
It is pretty popular here (in US) even Loreal has got their line of it (Loreal Bare Naturale) it kinda rocks. To me it's like a powder that is loose that actually has good coverage.tarte

Mineral make up results?
so much avertising on mineral make up especially sheer cover, has anyone here tried it and what did you think. i'm not young (middle aged :)Mineral make up results?
I've used BE (Bare Essentuals/Bare Minerals) for... over a year now. I like it, and it works fabulous IF you apply it right and use the right shade.. if you use the wrong shade or don't apply it right with the right brushes.. it just doesn't work. And, I would never use the foundation without the mineral veil over top.. the foundation by itself doesn't seem to look smooth and polished until you put the veil on, then once you do it has a very matte coverage. My only qualm with BE is that it doesn't stay on very long.. it comes off fairly easy in water and with sweat or heat.. And, I would def recommend using a primer before applying BE.. it doesn't have to be from the same brand name, just something that you really like.
A positive I've found to the BE is that it helps with acne.. it doesn't ';treat'; it, but it reduces the amount of outbreaks and does less damage to your skin. And I have slept in it many times before... it needs to be touched up in the morning, but when I pull off my 3 or 4am mornings, it does the trick!Mineral make up results?

Mineral Make-up at Shoppers?
I live in Canada, so I was wondering if either at IDA or Shoppers drug mart they sold mineral makeup.
If so, what is the brand and price?Mineral Make-up at Shoppers?
i am not sure about canada but many big makeup companies are cashing in on ';Bareminerals'; and putting out mineral makeup at stores. Loreal makes one, neutragena, Physicians formula, and cover girl. Personally, i think Bare Minerals is the BEST and it does not cost that much more. I love mineral makeup. It is natural looking, better for the skin, and doesn't look all caked on. Make sure you get a mineral FOUNDATION. Then you can use a mineral veil (or powder) for a soft finish.Mineral Make-up at Shoppers?
try physicians formula mineral wear. its about $10 is the us.

Question About How to Apply Bare Minerals Make-Up?
Do you pre conceal or post conceal, which works best?
Also, do you have to use the big brush when applying your first layer of foundation? If you like heavier coverage, can you just go straight to the middle brush?
And If you are using a primer, does it go under the Bare Vitamins rever-upper or after the vitamins application?
Thank you!!Question About How to Apply Bare Minerals Make-Up?
Post Conceal works best for me because it sometimes comes off when you apply the foundation and you will actually see the zits that need to be covered while some may be covered by the foundation.
No, you don't have to use a big brush for 1st application. You can use any brush you want.
A primer should be applied 1st in your makeup rountine.
:DQuestion About How to Apply Bare Minerals Make-Up?
Ehh, I'm not sure how much help I'll be because it doesn't sound like I have all of the products you do, but I personally don't use the Rever-upper, I never liked it that much, I just use Moisturelle lotion. I put that on first, then the Prime Time stuff, I don't have the vitamins application, so I just skip to the foundation. I use the big brush with the really short handle. It's called the full coverage Kabuki brush. It gives me really good coverage and is super fast. Then I put the bronzer on and then the blush and then that's it. I don't use the Mineral Veil because I have really dry skin and don't want to put any more powder than necessary on it. Hope this helps.

Mineral make-up better than regular make-up?
Is make-up made from minerals better than normal make-up? Is it better for your skin. its also called mineraized.
Make-up like this-

and this-
http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>Mineral make-up better than regular make-up?
Makeup that is made purely of minerals and not any other chemicals can be beneficial to the skin. The MAC one you have listed has mineral in it but not 100 percent pure minerals. I use mineral makeup and find that its healthy for my acne prone skin and doesn't have preservatives that irritates the skin. However, some skin can handle liquid makeup and it doesn't cause any problems. This all depends on how your skin reacts to makeup. Bare Escentuals makeup seems expensive but its about the same price as any other department store brand.Mineral make-up better than regular make-up?
It is better for your skin, I use bare minerals and love it, but there are times when I use other foundation. Bare Minerals has a starter kit for $60.00 so you can try it out and see if you like it. Each person is different and so is there skin...

Good Luck !MAC make up is just SIMPLY the best and really good and covers it up. Its very pricey and it depends on the ingredients list if it's good for your skin, it all depends.
Regular mineral makeup probably doesn't clog pores as much as a liquid would...and Bare Minerals are extremely expensive, so I use L'oreal and Physicians Formula mineral makeup.
Well BareMinerals are better(for your skin)
First of all, that isn't actually entirey minerals.
Its mixed with chemicals and pigments and minerals.
To have the best effects, it has to be %100 mineral,
like sheercover. and 3rd, what do you think?
I'd rather have natureal minerals on my face rather than harsh stuff that clog pores and add a flaw to my face.
I don't think all mineral makeup is better for your skin (or wallet), but I do love Physician's Formula. It's a bit expensive but not really, and is sold at drugstores. I love it.

Being a professional makeup artist I have used many mineral brands. I would Never recommend Bare Escentuals for many reasons.
1)They use a cheap low end mineral called bismuth oxychloride, this mineral is known to cause skin irritation, a dry itchy feeling, rash and acne (just google bare escentuals bismuth oxychloride itch and you will find pages of people with complaints)
2) If you have even slightly oily skin it will look very GREASY by noon
3) Their minerals wear off quick and you need to reapply several times a day (due to the bismuth)
4) They say they are all natural and have no preservatives. That is untrue as they use chemical parabean preservatives in their mineral veil and other skin care formulas.
By far the best mineral makeup I have used (I use it daily on myself and clientele) is Faerie Organic Minerals.
1) They ARE natural, they do not use preservatives at all, No bismuth oxychloride, No cheap fillers (talc, cornstarch etc)
2)Their minerals last all day no need to reapply even in heat
3) They are light, airy, feel as your not wearing makeup and leave a dewy healthy glow
4)They use a high end expensive mineral called BORON NITRIDE, this mineral is what makes their products better than others, it is antibacterial (acne gets better with use) it is a skin perfector and soother
5) They are more affordable than bare escntuals and sheer cover etc..
You really need to check it out, You will love it! They have a free sample kit at their site (you just pay shipping like $5.99) http://www.faerieorganic.comGood mineral make up?
Ok so I always swore by Maybelline Mineral Power makeup but I recently tried the Physicians formula mineral makeup and I am completely in love with it. With maybelline I found myself touching up my makeup like every 3 hours, it was ridiculous. With this stuff, I don't have to touch it up at all during the day. They have so much stuff to choose from too. You can do 100% organic or just regular mineral makeup. I love their Matte Finishing veil also. It leaves your skin completely flawless. This stuff also has awesome coverage. ( I use the pressed powder)
I have also heard a lot of good things about Bare Minerals BUT if you have sensitive skin there is bismuth in Bare Minerals and it causes you to itch,so you may want to stay away from that.
Just experiment, most places let you return makeup if you dont like it.
I absoulutely love Mary Kay Mineral Powder. I would definitely recommend it to almost anyone. But first, you need to know what color undertone your skin has, because i found that Mary Kay is more for people with yellow undertones. If you have pink undertones, then Bare Minerals would probably look better. But Mary Kay is cheaper and last longer.
i really like bare minerals........ it covers really well and doesn't look caked on or leave the ';orange'; lines, the blush is really nice too, they have booths at macys and they will do a free test on you so you know what shade you are
I dont really think mineral makeup covers well
i like MAC studio fix
i would try bare minerals.
1. It not over powering
2. it comes off easier then most mineral make ups
Everyday Minerals
I used Sheer Cover and didn't like it. Try Bare Escentuals.

Hey girls I have a problem. Im tryign to order there free kits mineral make up but it wont let me order them . I dont know why? i tried everything and still it says the transaction is been declined%26gt;.. why is that ???? Everyday Mineral MAke up?
They are probably facing some technical difficulties from there end of the line. Either that, or some problems with the information you entered (such as card information.)
I have never had that happen to me before, though.
You should check out ';live support'; on the main page. You can leave a e-mail if it's offline.

Any Mineral Make up users?
Last Thursday I went to the mall. I ask my mom to buy me bareminerals she said we can look at it. She knew how expensive it was. After watching the make up lady put it on me she desided to buy it. When i got home i opened it and i saw the catiloge. After look at all the products i desided i basicly wanted them all. I was wondering do you think i should save up for the products, or (i added up all i wanted it turned out $300+) switch to another make up line? Also who else had this problem when they really want it?Any Mineral Make up users?
You definitely dont need all the products. I would begin with the starter pack, which I think is only $60-80...
There is another kind of mineral makeup which I think is great, its called physician's formula. They make so many different kinds, for oily skin, and for all skin tones. Plus you can find the products in almost any drugstore/rite aid..
Hope this helps!Any Mineral Make up users?
bare minerals does work really well you should just select the ones you want the most or tell your mom that can be your christmas present or birthday present or both
If it makes u look great, then save %26amp; buy it. also, try narowing it down. other wise, if u get it, when u run out, u would need to save $300+ again
why dont you get that mineral stuff on tv sheercover. it will be 39.95 for a months worth. you should look it up.
I also love Bare Minerals makeup. I think the foundation powder is well worth the $25 a container, and I use it every day. The bronzer and mineral veil are great too, but I honestly don't use them that much. I guess I'll just have them for a long time!
As for the other stuff, I'm not so sure. My mother has a Bare Minerals lipgloss, and it really doesn't seem any better than the L'Oreal I buy for half the price. I've tried the eyeshadow at Sephora, and it frankly, I like Jane brand better, for about a third of the price! It just stays in place longer.
My advice is to stick to the basics, or buy one or two of the extras that you really want just to see how you like the quality. The catalog is really tempting, I know, when I got mine in my box I poured over it wondering what to get, but honestly there are other brands of makeup out there that are just as good if not better for lips and eyes.
Do you seriously need that much makeup? For the bare minerals line I only use the foundation, warmth and mineral veil. Get your eyeshadow, etc elsewhere... or just pick out a few things to get. You don't need the whole line... Also don't put too much makeup on, fyi you'll look FAKE!
choose neutrogena mineral line it rocks
I love Bare Minerals! I've been wearing it for 3 1/2 years. I no longer look at other brands of make up. I love how the eye colors go on and wear, plus you can mix colors to create your own color. I would start out with a couple eye colors and 1 shadow liner, and a versatile blush. Remember that the colors can be mixed and worn all over.
I live 6 hours from a boutique and when I go I make sure that I take a list of colors to try and stick to a budget. If you don't you'll regret getting all the colors. Also make sure that the colors you want are ones that you use, some colors are very similar to others, so keep track of all the colors you have so you will know what you're getting. Some colors you can lighten or darken and make it close to an existing shade.
Good luck and enjoy!!
Baby u can get less expensive mineral products that works just as good and better, in make up expensive doesn't mean better try physicians formula or cover fx.

Need help with mineral make up!
which brand of mineral make up should i invest in! Need help with mineral make up!
i used to use bare minerals but i've since switched to urban decay's surreal mineral make up. it's absolutely wonderful, and makes you look a lot more airbrushed (which is what i was going for... if you want something more natural, bare minerals is better for you). it's about $29, doesn't come with brushes but you can get some at sephora.
i actually don't like the brushes that come with the bare escentuals kit, i think they're really cheap and shed hair really really easily. i like too faced's kabuki brush, it's made of synthetic material, so it doesn't absorb oil the way animal hair brushes do. urban decay's brushes are also made of antibacterial material. this is really important to me because i have oily skin and i don't need any extra oil coming from my brushes. Need help with mineral make up!
I just started using the Maybelline mineral powdered foundation and I happen to think it's a great foundation. It covers spots, redness, etc. I love it. It feels light on your skin and gives an airbrushed look!
It is available everywhere, and if you look in different stores, you may find it for a reasonable price.
There are numerous colours available and concealers, blushes, and I think they even have lipstick now!
It's perfect stuff for anyone!
Try it!
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!
I've tried two: Bare Minerals and Jane Iredale. Jane Iredale has the most natural colors but the makeup only lasts about an hour or two. Bare minerals lasts a lot longer but it can look cakey if you apply too much, and it is messy to apply. So if you don't mind re-applying your foundation all day, then I recommend the Jane Iredale pressed powder foundation. Otherwise the Bare Minerals is probably the way to go.
I know a lot of people would say Bare minerals, but personally for me it was very shiny and the bismuth broke me out. Drugstore wise Physician's Formula is great, but I also like Everyday Minerals, u can order it online and it is very affordable.good luck
avons mineral makeup is like 9 dollars
Hi I have never tried, the bare minerals as its just too expensive. I have however tried Avons personal match minerals, and the shade I would normally get was far too pale, even thought the coverage was great the lightest shade is far to pale even for me and I am very pale myself, so I should of gone darker but obviously didnt know till I bought it, I love it as it goes on like a powder then goes creamy like a foundation, I didnt get any skin irritation with it which I normally do with foundations but this was great, its just you have to use quite alot of it to cover and it stays on the skin so if you touch your face you will get it on your hands even thought it doesnt look like any has come off your skin, its just too thick, but good if you like it thick.
I have just moved onto the collection 2000 version called skin perfecting minerals I chose the lighter shade and thank god it isnt pale, it doesnt go on as thick either but does take more to cover blemishes etc but so far I love it and it hasnt irritated my skin despeite it being scented which I thought it wouldnt be as the minerals are suppose to be none scented but this on is the best I have used so far.
I have been tempeted to get the loreal one, but as there colours in the foundations are too dark for me in general anyways I was too sure on the colour as once you start applying it even thought they go on as a powder the sort of turn into a foundation and the only one thats the lightest shade in the uk in the loreal make is golden Ivory which to mee looks very dark.
I havent tried the maybelline one yet as I dont get on with their foundations as they irritate my skin all the time, so im not too sure and they are around a tenner and if there not anygood they are a waste of money, and you can never tell in the shops till you get home.
bare escentuals,it's the best for your skin%26amp; you get the brushes you will need in the starter kit.

I bought some Lo'real mineral make-up (powder)?
it seems tot match my face nearly perfectly but it gives my nose a grayish look to it. should i buy another shade? is my nose possibly lighter than the rest of my face? is it just too light?I bought some Lo'real mineral make-up (powder)?
Because of skin conditions and skin irregularities your skin can be different colors in different places. I also use mineral make up but sometimes I have to use different shades for different parts of my face and then blend, blend, blend. Also you might want to consider using a concealer on some parts of your face before you put your mineral make-up on. Finish with a powder like mineral veil it will make it all come together. Just experiment and Good luck!tarte

Are knock-off mineral make-ups just as good as Bare Minerals?
I would really like to get a mineral make-up kit but Bare Minerals is just too expensive for me right now. I have been looking on ebay and have found some kits for about $20 that seem good, but I was just wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper, but quality mineral make-up brand. Thank you!Are knock-off mineral make-ups just as good as Bare Minerals?
I haven't personally tried it, but everydayminerals is said to be as good if not better quality than bare minerals. You can order a free sample kit with 3 mini foundations, 1 concealor, and a blush and just pay the cost of shipping. It also doesn't contain the irritating ingredient Bismuth Oxychloride in many mineral makeups that can cause breakouts and rashes. Check it out at everydayminerals.com and read reviews of this and other brands at makeupalley.com
It's probably best to avoid the really cheap lesser known brands like Raw minerals- I've heard really bad things about some of them. Are knock-off mineral make-ups just as good as Bare Minerals?
MK has a new minerals line and I know a girl who switched from Bare Minerals to the MK Mineral powder and LOVED IT! She said that for a year she had been wearing bare minerals and it felt really caked on, but with the MK Mineral Powder it looked more natural and felt natural. Check out the website below they have free samples :0
Just remember, you get what you pay for!! Bare Essential is a little pricey. I got a whole kit for about 60 bucks, but it is sooooooooo worth it! and you don't use too much of it, so it will last you a while. Say your pennies and nickels girl! I say you go for the Bare Minerals!
usually the fake minerals have some bad ingredients, just read the ingredients and compare it to the other ingredients. Also the make-up kits come with smaller portions of bare minerals, so be careful, and read fine print
no. Bare Minerals are seriously the absolute BEST! I've tried Bare Minerals and knockoff. But Bare Minerals are way better! It gives you a really natural look. I love it.
Maybelline's Mineral Power works just as good as Bare Minerals did for me. =]
I even like it better.
i don't know but i just started using bare minerals and it is the best stuff i ever used.

Mineral make-up..?
does it cover well? is it worth the price? how about the brands at your local drug store? thanks!Mineral make-up..?
Bare Minerals is awesome. Loreal also makes mineral makeup, although from them I only like their mineral concealer. Theres plenty of mineral makeup in the drugstore now too. I think bare minerals is the best foundation I've ever used, you can apply as little or as much as you want, it feels light on your skin, it looks natural and covers well. I really like it... when I first bought it, I didn't apply it right... here is how I recommend doing it:
Wash your face, and dab dry with a towel
Apply no more than a dime size amount of moisturizer all over your face and let it sit for about 2 mins before you apply any make up
You need a Kabuki brush, the large size (which isn't huge, but you may find 2 sizes, you need the short, fat/larger one)
Take your minerals and tap some of them into the lid, and take your kabuki brush and swirl it all around in those minerals and then tap off the excess, and then just buff it all around your face, all over, sort of in a circular motion... and you can do this again if you'd like..you can apply as much or little as you want or need it always looks natural if you've bought the right color for your skin.
Minerals are healthy for the skin and Bare Minerals has SPF 15 and their concealers are SPF 20.Mineral make-up..?
As a professional makeup artist I have used many forms of makeup and foundations over the years. I have changed and been using faerie organic minerals on myself and my clientel for the last 2 years. I hated cream/liquid foundations as it is very time consuming for me to blend and it only works well with cerain skin types. Mineral makeup is worth it for the health benefits alone. Your skin won't break out (if its a good one), they are more natural for your skin, they lend a healthy *glow to the skin and have natural spf. They cover well and prices differ. I go with faerie organic because it is really natural looking, yet has good coverage and is affordable. Don't mess with drugstore brands, they use cheap fillers and you just won't get the same results as the higher end ones. Faerie organic has a sample kit for like $5.99 you can check it out here...........http://www.faerieorganic.com check out the befores and afters.
MMU is wonderful! The coverage is great and it's very light. I'd definitely say it's worth it. I've never tried any drug store brand MMU, and I wouldn't mess around with the lower end stuff just because personally, I have very sensitive skin (but that's not to say that some of the higher end stuff doesn't break me out)
Some brands to look into:
Every Day Minerals
Pur Minerals
Bare Minerals
A good brush is essential, too!
Mineral Make-up Is Worth Trying Cause, Just Like me I Was Skeptical About Minerals, Until My Sister Got Me To Tryout Her Avon Mineral Powder, Since I Always Used My CoverGirl Compressed Compact Powder, I Thought Why Not try it Out. I Was Glad I Did Cause I Didn't Need To Keep Re-Applying My Powder As I Had To With My Covergirl Powder. And it Felt So Smooth And Light On My Face. Try it Out For Yourself Cause You Might Or Might Not Like It. I Stick To Avon Minerals But I Havent Yet Tried Out Covergirls Mineral Powders Yet.
Prices. Avon $10.00 (For A Small Sized Container).
And Drug Store Ones Are About That Much Maybe More.
i used bare escentuals for a while but it became too expensive... especially for the small amount you pay for! i tried prestige cosmetics mineral line (drugstore brand in cvs, wal greens, longs, and ulta) and it is fabulous! it actually provides more coverage than BE did and it is waaay cheaper. it is only like $9-11 for each jar instead of $20-30.
I did a review on it on my blog:
http://dimelook.blogspot.com/2008/06/prestige-skin-loving-minerals-review.html
personally i dont like it as much as other types of make up, and it is more expensive at certain places, but it actually looks better on some people than it does on others.
it is also a little more difficult to apply but you get used to it. it is just as effective too!
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

Mineral make up?
I have heard about mineral make up and that alot of people are starting to use it because its better for your skin. Where can i get mineral make up and how much does it cost?Mineral make up?
It's not that mineral makeup is necessarily 'better' for your skin, it's made of ingredients that are less likely to cause skin irritation, as well as providing excellent, buildable coverage.
Many people with acne issues, acne scarring, severe uneven skin tone, or people who simply want excellent coverage without looking like they have on a mask love mineral makeup. It also is extremely long wearing.
That said you can spend as much or as little on mineral makeup as you want.
The higher end products are Jane Iredale and Bare Escentuals. You can find Bare Escentuals at Ulta.com, and is on sale from time to time. Jane Iredale can be purchased from some beauty supply stores.
You can also get mineral makeup at any drugstore, or drugstores online. Many large makeup manufacturers like Cover Girl, L'oreal and Physician's Formula have their own lines. Buying them when they're on special will bring your cost down. And, with many risk-free policies that many drugstores have (love it or bring it back and we'll refund your money), trying something new is easier than ever.
Good luck!!Mineral make up?
If you just search it on yahoo they have a lot of sites. I've been using it for awhile now and I love it. They have bare minerals and like sheer cover. I think those are the top two sellers right now.
There are many different kinds of mineral makeup. One of my personal favorites is Bare Minerals by I.D. You can get it online at their website, www.bareminerals.com. It cost about $40 for a kit, but you can also buy each powder seperate if you don't want a kit.
i got some from walgreens for $10 its called mineral wear..

[[by the way it works really well people have asked me if it was air brushed]]
Avon sells that. I know that with Bare Essentials they cost $25 each but Avon sells it for only $10 but has it on sale for only $7.99

Avon sells that. I know that with Bare Essentials they cost $25 each but Avon sells it for only $10 but has it on sale for only $7.99

I use Everyday Minerals for my foundation now and I love it! It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, it's affordable and it gives good coverage. It feels really light on my skin, like I'm not wearing much makeup at all. You can actually get a FREE SAMPLE KIT if you want to try it out! Mineral make up made from natural mineral sourcse has numerous benefits for the skin and has been used with great effect by many cultures at least as far back as the Egyptyian dynasties without causing any danage to the skin or the cells. But chemical based cosmetics cannot claim the same record of safety. The problem may occur when the chemical cosmetic companies try to exploit minerals in their marketingsso some products are not as pure as they make out - especially compared with - say - cosmetics produced by ethical and organic manufactures like the safer alternative brand I use.
ive read all kinds of mixed reviews on all the different mineral makeup brands...however i bought Dinair Airbrush Makeup a few years ago and its amazing! it makes my skin look flawless, it lasts all day, its all water based so its not bad for my skin...its seriously the best makeup ive ever used...if u just google Dinair you'll find their site...hope i helped...=)
It doesn't clog pores and leaves your skin looking light and sheer rather than weighed down and patchy.

Whats my mineral make up shade?
i want to buy elf mineral foundation and dont really know what shade i am plz help. If not elf maybe some other brand thants not too expensive thanx guys.Whats my mineral make up shade?
I'm not sure about elf cosmetics but Everyday Minerals and Alima Cosmetics both have a wide variety of shades in different finishes/coverages and are very affordable so you can basically get a custom match. Everyday Minerals sends out free samples and offer it in matte, semi matte, original glo, intensive and pressed and a lot of girls from makeupalley.com mix the formulas together to get a super natural look. Alima charges a small fee for their satin matte finish samples but they last at least a week or longer and it's definitely worth it if you can find your exact shade. Both have excellent staying power and more natural compared to other mineral foundations I've tried and do not contain bismuth oxychloride which is actually found in Bare Minerals and is toxic.
There's actually a website called makeupalley.com where you can read reviews, write reviews, swap etc. with makeup and skincare experts from around the world that can be incredibly knowledgeable and help give you your exact shade. There are also other boards/forums at makeupalley that you might enjoy such as family, pets, home and garden, fitness and nutrition, fashion, bath and body, fragrance, work and money etc. and it's a really nice community with some really wonderful girls (and some boys too :))
Anyway, sorry for rambling and I hope you find your exact match!Whats my mineral make up shade?
you need to go to the store and TRY IT. it is impossible to buy foundation or concealer products without trying them out on your wrist first to see if it blends properly. i just got maxfactor's new mineral powder foundation and it's fantastic. it doesn't look like you're wearing foundation at all, which is the point. it's about 拢14, which is roughly what you should be spending on foundation otherwise you will almost definately get a dodgy shade which will then clog your pores. it's not dirt cheap but last for ages so i think it's worth it.

Thanks =) Tinted mosterize. %26amp; mineral make up? ?
Being a professional makeup artist and having tried so many brands and mediums of makeup I can help you narrow this down and make your own choice. Here is a list based off my experience and expertice..........
1) No to Drugstore brands (loreal, maybelline, revlon, neutrogena etc.)........They are loaded with chemicals (including bismuth oxychloride- which is not a mineral but a metal that has been processed with tin and copper, it is well known to cause itching, rash and acne) that can aggravate your skin and break you out. Due to these unneeded chemicals and fillers they also leave your skin looking powdery, cakey, strange and dull and with time will make for an overall unhealthy complexion
2) No to bare escentuals..........this is one company who has waaaay to much hype, most of the time it's from people who have never used anything else so they haven't ried anything better. Bare escentuals uses Bismuth oxychloride which is bad for your skin. (as stated above.) they are also not truthful as they say no preservatives yet they use chemical parabeans in their mineral veil and other formulas. They also use cheap fillers like cornstarch and that is the main ingredient in their mineral veil. Their makeup wears off by midday and looks very greasy and shiny.
There are many great mineral companies out there that do not use bismuth oxychloride, I have chosen the one I use after much research looking for purity, absence of chemicals and preservatives, adhesion(how long it stays on) and overall finish (how it looks on)
I use Faerie Organic Minerals, I really can't say enough good about it and my clientele agrees. They also have a great tinted moisturizer, it blends in to almost all skin tones even very light and leaves a dewy finish. Heres a few reasons I choose them above others....
1)They are natural, no preservatives, no chemicals, cheap fillers or binders
2)they are good for your skin, they help exsiting skin conditions like acne, roseaca, sensitive skin due to the zinc oxide and boron nitride
3) the ingredients they use are listed on the safety cosmetic database http://cosmeticdatabase.com and rate as very safe for your skin and health
4)their minerals are lightweight, airy, natural looking, blend easily, cover redness, acne etc very well and best of all last all day and leave a dewy glow (most companies lack somewhere in this list)
5)They are more affordable than most mineral brands
6)you can get a free sample kit to try first. It comes with 2 foundations, sheer veil (oil absorber) and bronzer
I am sure I am forgetting some additional pluses but you probably getthe idea. This was my choice based on my experience and expectations. I do recommend getting the free sample kit though. http://www.faerieorganic.com

I've tried both types of makeup. Bare Minerals broke me out bad. Because of the acne from Bare Minerals, I tried Proactiv and it did nothing. Wanting to cover the zits, I bought their tinted moisturizer and it covers nothing, doesn't even suit my skin cover. Personally Regular foundation works the best. I love the Physicians Formula Beauty Spiral.
I love the L'Oreal mineral makeup. I use the airbrush one. It also helps my face from getting oily.
Clinique has great face make-up.
Hey! I'm not sure if you've ever tried Mary Kay, but they have both tinted moisturizer and mineral foundations, shadows, cheek colors and powders. And they will match you to your perfect shade. Email me at ginalynnolson@yahoo.com and I can talk to you more about it.tarte

This mineral powder is so good. I am 67 and find this terrific. No clogging and great coverage and it lasts all day without a shine. It is natural so what is better than that. You have to experiment with the colours. I am a bit tanned and needed to go down to Almond. You can buy two and mix them. It takes a long time to use it up. You just tap a bit into lid and swirl the brush into it and voila! Just watch for the fine powder falling on to your clothes so put a cloth over yourself till you have applied it. You will love it.
L'Oreal is very expensive compared to Avon.

thanks xWhich mineral make-up foundation would you recommend? :)?

bare minerals, I've tried others and they were awful. tried a starter kit from either house of fraser or debenhams and they're great, I'm hooked.
if you get the starter kit you get the brushes that you need and a DVD, It's good value.
bare minerals ALL the way. accept no imitations!
bare mineral if you wanta splurge
or maybelline mineral for a more cheap but amazing foundation
or ELF foundation which is ok for lighter skinned people http://www.eyeslipsface.com/by_product/f鈥?/a> or ppl with a golden undertone
Absolutely Jane Iredale. It is a tiny bit more expensive but is vastly superior - it is the original mineral make up product.
It is still used in Doctors and plastic surgeons clinics and is truly 100% free of toxic ingredients.
It has a wide range of colours and is superior enough in aesthetic effect to be used by top make-up artists and actors. Even Obama uses it!
Most of the new ';mineral make-up'; ranges are second rate imitations which, even though they may have mineral pigments instead of tar dyes, still have talc along with other undesirables in them and are limited in colour choice and aesthetic effect..
Everyone has climbed on the bandwagon but without the quality to back them up.
Granite works for me !! LOL
I use Everyday Minerals. I've tried most of the other big brands, expensive and cheap. this is the only one that doesn't break me out, and actually matches my skin tone. their website offers free samples so you can get your perfect shade, too.
maybelline pure minerals foundation is good (:
goes on as powder but gives decent coverage
prevented a few break outs too!
hope i helped X

I agree with the first answer, Bare Escentuals/Bare Minerals is the best by far, I've tried numerous once, Sheer Cover %26amp; the cheaper brands like Revlon etc. RUBBISH! It's absolutely brilliant! I wouldn't use any other brand of mineral makeup and the range is so wide from foundations to mascara and eyeshadows. :)

Mineral make up?
i've heard lots that mirneral foundation is really good so i went to the chemist and the cheapest mineral foundation was$30 for a TEENY tub.
is this overpriced or average? coz i prbly cant afford to use that all the time...Mineral make up?
If you get a good quality powder mineral foundation it last a lot longer than you'd suspect from the tiny containers. I've found that Bare Minerals is a really great choice. The starter kit is around sixty bucks but you get all the nice brushes, etc. I tried a couple of the cheaper brands like Maybelline and Loreal and found that they really paled in comparison. Went on streaky or didn't cover well. Bare Minerals should be your first choice. Definately worth the investment of the starter kit.Mineral make up?
Mineral foundation is lot better for you're skin because it's not made out of the same chemicals as regular foundations. As far as price you can find it a bit cheaper. Bareminerals which you can find on their website, and at Sephora and Ulta stores runs about 25 and Ulta has a store brand which is fine and it's 14 or 15 i believe and also I heard that drugstore brands like Maybelline have mineral makeup but not sure what the price is.
You can use the kind from Walmart and it's maybe $7. It may not be as great as what you are using, but I love it. It covers minimal acne nicely, and it gives you a nice glow. Oh yeah, it looks natural, but I'm sure you already new that. I use Cover Girl mineral makeup but there are plenty others.
Actually, I just came across this brand called purminerals. The starter kit is $35 so it's really affordable, and I like the coverage a lot more than other mineral makeup I have used (bare escentuals and everyday minerals). Plus, it doesn't make me break out!
go to rite aid and there is a foundation by mabelline called mineral powder its foundation and its just as good as any other and its 6 almost 7 dollars.so try it.
ps it comes with a little makeup brush too.
Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

Best Mineral Make up?
What have you found to be the best brand? Im UK - I have tried the maybelline one not that pleased with it- aswell do you need to use a normal concealer with it aswell? Or can you get mineral concealer? ThanksBest Mineral Make up?
I have tried 3 kinds
Avon - good coverage, lasts long, massive pot lasts ages
Maxfactor - its ok, need quite a lot to get a good coverage and can be a bit shimmery
L'oreal - this one is my fav, looks natural and gives you a healthy glow
Iv heard all about Bare Esentuals and it is suppose to be one of the best but I can't afford to spend 拢22 on a foundation =(
Yes you can get mineral concealer, I think Maybelline does it but it is only in liquid for so not real for spots only dark circles. But I find with mineral make up they cover spots up just as good as a normal stick concealerBest Mineral Make up?

samples are 99p each and full size 拢12. Foundation is much purer than the main cosmetic brands.

Does mineral make up helps with acne????
or it just makes acne worse?Does mineral make up helps with acne????
The actual ingredients dont help, but the product does. the fact that it is so sheer, but still covers well so that you dont have to use a lot is good for your skin. it allows your skin to breathe, rather than a thick heavy liquid foundation. It won't make your acne any worse unless you use waaaaay too much (like any makeup will) or if you don't wash your face at night after wearing it all day.Does mineral make up helps with acne????
It is supposed to be the safest makeup to use if you have acne. It does not cake or form a heavy mask on the skin as other types can. Also, most brands are fragrance free.
it wont cause acne and it does help with it
It allows your skin to breathe better than using liquid foundation.
I am a prestige consultant. and the best thing to do is wear no makeup. drink losts of water, and cut down the sweets. But if you have to wear makeup mineral makeup is the best. there isnt any chemicals used when making it so there is nothing impure on your face.
Go to ULTA or SEPHORA they have great stuff
no it deosn't help but it is the wiser option when it comes to foundations.
I hate to say this, but I totally disagree with britchic... you can have beautiful skin and wear makeup! Oh yeah, and your diet does not effect your complexion!
Honestly, I did not have a good experience with mineral makeup. I can say it did cover up the nasty pimples IT CREATED very well.
After the nightmare with the stuff, and the day after I switched to Almay foundation my skin has never looked so great. They just started making a foundation that helps clear your skin (it has a white cap). Its made with salisylic acid to clear up your skin and it works wonders. Please take my advice and dont waste your money on mineral makeup. I went through hell and back and my face hurt sooo bad because it was infected and irritated!
If makeup irritates your skin or your worried that it might, look for makeups that say hypo allergenic and oil free.

Is mineral make-up better?
Does mineral make-up really work better than other products?
The make-up that I use now (foundation) rubs off on EVERYTHING. And when I sweat, the makeup drips. I then have spots with TOO MUCH makeup that looks horrible and then other spots with no makeup. I want a makeup that I can put on in the morning and not have to touch up at all throughout the day because I just don't have the time to worry about the way my face is looking.
Also, I have discoloration (a yellow color) on my face that I need to cover up.
So my question is, will mineral make-up help me in these areas? Does it really stay on all day and does it really cover spots completely? Is mineral make-up better?
Let me explain. Mineral Makeup is makeup made from naturally occurring pigments from the earth. It鈥檚 non-comodegenic (non-pore clogging) and so doesn鈥檛 irritate the skin or even penetrate it 鈥?it鈥檚 a perfect solution for sensitive skin and mature skin and a smart, common sense alternative for all of us who want to keep our skin beautiful and problem free. We all are aware by now that the majority of the things put in cosmetic products are at the least unhealthy and with continued exposure, can even be life threatening. So when there鈥檚 a better alternative out there, it behooves us to at least check it out.
To cover your discoloration i suggest a good mineral foundation ^.^Is mineral make-up better?
bare minerals by bare escentuals is the original and best one. it comes in many shades to match every skin tone, it covers well, stays on all day long, looks %26amp; feels completely natural, and is actually good for the skin. try it out for yourself at any sephora, ulta, macy's, or nordstrom store, to see, how you like it, before making a decision.
Mineral make - up does work better. It's healthier, and and it wont cake up. It's easier to spread, and it gives a lighter look. Try some of these sites:

Hope this helps!
Yes mineral theres a myth saying mineral makeup MAY clear up your skin. They are also much more easier to use than foundation palettes and liquid. I really like using liquid--when it gives you SPF and a clearer skin formula.
Mineral makeup feels good too..tarte
The make-up that I use now (foundation) rubs off on EVERYTHING. And when I sweat, the makeup drips. I then have spots with TOO MUCH makeup that looks horrible and then other spots with no makeup. I want a makeup that I can put on in the morning and not have to touch up at all throughout the day because I just don't have the time to worry about the way my face is looking.
Also, I have discoloration (a yellow color) on my face that I need to cover up.

make sure you put a moisturizer on your face before you put on any makeup. Report Abuse
use a face cream at night and take a couple days off the makeup to just moisturize trust me i get exema(dry peeling skin) all ovrer my face when i use certain products orwhen i get sun
in that case, I'm so glad i did not buy bare minerals. i wonder if the product by Liza gibbons this same problem.
If your skin is getting dry but you like the makeup then just use a moisturizer first, or their bare vitamins. I use bare minerals and i really like it. My skin does get a little dry so i use moisturizer. And for the lines in my eye area I use Maybaline's undetectable concealer. It works great!
try Neutrogena Skin Clearing coverup/Foundation it works 4 me because it has sylic acid in it ( wich helps cover and clear up ur blemishes). god luck!
I love GLO minerals i get it at a store called THE WHOLE FOODS STORE. All natural and actually corrects skin over time awesome stuff!! I would reccomend to every woman.
Well, I use the Maybelline Mousse. I like it, but the trouble is finding the right shade for me. It seems like CVS never has what I want. Also, get two colors. That way you can mix to get the shade you want, then use the lighter shade for blemishes. That's what I do.
I had the same problem with dryness. I started using Bobbi Brown's primer, which is an amazing moisturizer, and her Moisture Rich Foundation. I love it because my skin looks amazing, but it also looks really natural.

I have bare mineral make up and ...?
when i have sex it comes off
and i was wondering is there anyway i can do to make it stayI have bare mineral make up and ...?
primer, and makeup sprayI have bare mineral make up and ...?
Dont have heavy sex?
what does it matter if ur makeup comes off during sex?
you can use primer such as smashbox foundation primer which works good as an over-all primer.
putting baby powder on a powder brush %26amp; dusting it over the mineral veil helps me when i'm working out %26amp; sweating..maybe it'll help you. just dont use too much or you'll be white haha good luck!
what does sex have to do with makeup...and why wear it during..anyway? your partner must be really rough? does he slap you around alot?
Try liquid MUCH better :)
