Makeup that is made purely of minerals and not any other chemicals can be beneficial to the skin. The MAC one you have listed has mineral in it but not 100 percent pure minerals. I use mineral makeup and find that its healthy for my acne prone skin and doesn't have preservatives that irritates the skin. However, some skin can handle liquid makeup and it doesn't cause any problems. This all depends on how your skin reacts to makeup. Bare Escentuals makeup seems expensive but its about the same price as any other department store brand.Mineral make-up better than regular make-up?
It is better for your skin, I use bare minerals and love it, but there are times when I use other foundation. Bare Minerals has a starter kit for $60.00 so you can try it out and see if you like it. Each person is different and so is there skin...

Good Luck !MAC make up is just SIMPLY the best and really good and covers it up. Its very pricey and it depends on the ingredients list if it's good for your skin, it all depends.
Regular mineral makeup probably doesn't clog pores as much as a liquid would...and Bare Minerals are extremely expensive, so I use L'oreal and Physicians Formula mineral makeup.

First of all, that isn't actually entirey minerals.


Its mixed with chemicals and pigments and minerals.


To have the best effects, it has to be %100 mineral,

I'd rather have natureal minerals on my face rather than harsh stuff that clog pores and add a flaw to my face.
I don't think all mineral makeup is better for your skin (or wallet), but I do love Physician's Formula. It's a bit expensive but not really, and is sold at drugstores. I love it.
