What does everyone think about mineral make up??!!?

I'm not a big make up buyer or user, but I've been wanting some minor concealer, mostly for dark circles under my eyes. I was looking up mineral make up online and it seems a bit pricey. Is it worth it?! Does it really cover all that well, and NOT mess up your skin? Any other brands that you prefer? Thank you!!!!What does everyone think about mineral make up??!!?
It is better than normal foundation, less chemicals, preservatives etc. Try Everyday Minerals or Meow, they both have websites. Also Lumiere make great kabuki brushes, which you need to apply it for the best results. Search the internet for those brands, and they also sell you cheap samples. I love mineral makeup! It is great for a natural finish, easier to get a good colour match and better for your skin. :)What does everyone think about mineral make up??!!?
bare minerals by bare escentuals is the best make-up ive found in over 25 years. check it out at any ulta, sephora, or nordstrom store, to see how it looks on you, before you make a decision. i recommend bisque, or summer bisque (depending on your skin tone), for dark circles, then use it all over your face to even out your skin tone. i use summer bisque, then foundation, and mineral veil. it seems pricey at first, the foundation costs 25.00, but lasts me about one year, with daily use.
I love Bare Escentuals! I have been using it for more than 2 years now. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the coverage of Bare Escentuals is. I use Mineral Veil, Multi-tasking Minerals and the SPF 15 Foundation. My dark circles are gone!

I also notice that the condition of my complexion is much better since using Bare Escentuals. My pores look at lot smaller and I have a smoother complexion. No more breakouts either!

Best wishes!
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

I really love bare minerals. I've been using it for about 2 years or so. I have super sensitive skin, and usually break out with heavy liquid or cream makeup. But bare minerals never ever makes me break out. Also, it covers my scars well although you'd need something heavier for big huge zits, lol. I really recommend it. It is a little expensive, but the starter kit is really worth the money. I think it's around $60, for 2 jars of makeup, and bronzer, plus 3 high quality real sable hair brushes. The jars lasted me almost a year, so its definitely worth it.

If your not a makeup guru, than its perfect for you. Mineral makeup is light and not heavy like liquid and some powder foudnations. Its quick and easy and covers 98% of imperfections. Its pricey but its worth it if you dont have time to tak all day and you want great coverage. A great brand is Bare Escentuals. You can see demos on QVC.com or go to any Sephora Beauty store and have a makeup consultant help you select your shade and how to apply perfectly. If you go BE, I suggest you know your shades beforehand and purchase at QVC.com. They have great deals and special offer on the Bare Minerals line. But I highly suggest you go to Sephora first and sample.

There are other brands such as Sheer Cover by Leeza Gibbons, I heard its good but BE is that much better..Even Covergirl and Revlon are starting to make their own mineral makeup, so its just a matter of which brand to go for.

Goodluck:)

The only thing I dont like about some mineral makeup is that it gives you a shimmery look. I wish they would make it more matter than shimmery, I feel like I have glitter makeup on sometimes;)
bare minerals

theyre amazing

but if its just for undereye

try concealer

if ur willing to spend a bit more for quality

try smashbox concealer
