All About Mineral Make Up?

i am thinking about changing my make-up to mineral make-up. At the moment i use tinted moisturiser, concealer, bronzer, mascara and eyeliner. i have heard that its good, ecspecially for people with oily skin but i read in a magazine that it can make you look really pale..is this true? is mineral make-up good? what variety of mineral make-up can i get and where can i get it from? is it expensive?

can you get tinted moisturisers, concealers and bronzers that are mineral? All About Mineral Make Up?
I've been using Bare Escentuals for about 5 years now, and I really like it. It's reasonably priced and lasts a long time. There are various kits available at qvc.com, sephora.com, ulta.com and bareescentuals.com. The point of mineral makeup is to simplify the ingredients, so in Bare Escentuals, there aren't any tinted moisturizers since everything is in micronized mineral form without binders, waxes, or liquids.

The Concealers would be bisque or any of the bisque variations, and the bronzer would be faux tan all over face color.

As far as it making you look really pale, no I wouldn't say that's true. I use the fairly light foundation, and the minerals don't wash me out. I like using True and Faux Tan all over face colors.

I'd start off with their Starter kit and their ';Beyond the Basics'; kit. See sephora.com for details. All About Mineral Make Up?
you can buy cheap samples at some places like signature minerals to try %26amp; see if you like them. it only takes a tiny bit. looks %26amp; feels natural. :-)
I like how natural this one is: www.christinacosmetics.com

The makeup artist had problems with her skin and made this for that.
I work for a very well known cosmetics company (I would get in trouble if I said which one) and you need to be careful of mineral products that are too pure. When a cosmetic company reduces the number of ingredients too far, then in order for the minerals to hold up over a long peroid of time, they must add very harmful chemicals. The worst one on the market currently is the ';Bare Esscentuals';. Please do your skin a favor and avoid it!!

A good product is the everyday minerals.
I use it %26amp; I will never go back to liquid or creme foundations again. I use Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation. It's a bit expensive, but you can use Physicians Formula which is relatively inexpensive %26amp; sold in drug stores. Good luck.
I would suggest Everyday Minerals. Many people has compared it to Bare Minerals and found it better. EDM does not have bismuth which BM does which is why BM ends with a shiny look and people are allergic to bismuth.

You can get a sample kit for just paying the shipping and handling. You get 3 foundations (over 20+ color choices), 1 blush, 1 concealer.

Another is signature minerals, I just ordered a sample but I'm not sure on how good it is.

The very best foundation you can buy is made by Bee Luscious Cosmetics, its a liquid powder mineral foundation that comes in natural colors that blend and mesh with your own skin tones to even and create a flawless appearance. It is truly amazing and the best product I have ever used in my entire life, and the company is very reputable.
