Bare Escentuals is one of the shinniest mineral foundations that I have tried. Amongst BE, Jane Iredale, Youngblood, Glo Mineral, Philosophy and Everyday Minerals, I think the only one that gives a nice glow as opposed to high beam shine, is Everyday Minerals. BARE MINERAL SIS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE BUT ALOT OF MY CLIENTS HAVE BEEN SAYING THAT ITS A OIL POT about 80% of my clients says it maes their skin shiny and reading reviews on makeupalley.com seeing alot of people says it does if you wont the same great look with out the shine use URBEN DECAY SURREAL SKIN MINERAL MKAEUP thats cheeper (casue you dont need a brush a sponge applicator is attached) and its NOT DEWY AND SHINY LIKE BARE MINERALS but not really dull and matte its perfect for everyskintone and can be found at sephora and gives a SEMI MATTE finish which is not shiny or matte just between it great rread all the reviews on makeupalley.com. its the best!
I use bare mingerals but I put on Mary Kay oil free mattifier before I put on the bare minerals and I don't have that problem anymore. Try it.
A shinier look is actually in style right now, as opposed to matte, which I am having a problem getting used to, also. However, I am now using Arbonne's mineral make-up which has a nice SPF15 in it, since I sell Arbonne anyway. It makes me a little shinier than what I was using before (liquid make-up) but I look healthier and it is SO EASY to put on and QUICK!
